Today I was stuck working in the middle of the woods (in the middle of nowhere) and then the fog rolled in.

Oh god, I think I'm in the movie "Deliverance". Somebody get me a banjo.

That was T. holding up a shovel like a rifle. Yeah, I really don't know why. I just took the picture.

So yeah; weird day today. After work I got home and I had every intention of doing some exercises, but I took a nap instead. I managed to throw myself out of bed at about 6:30 though, so it wasn't one of those nights where I slept the night away after 5:00PM. I hate when that happens.

I stopped by L.'s place tonight and we watched American Idol. I don't usually watch that show, but man is it funny!! I can't believe just how bed some of those singers are! I mean some of them are really good but there are a few that are amazingly awful! You wouldn't catch me up there singing my guts out just to have Simon tell me I'm the 'new worst thing he's ever heard'. Bloody hell no! But then I don't sing.

So after we watched American Idol, I had to leave because I still had to get some groceries for this week at Extra Foods (a supermarket that I like to go to). I wanted to make some nice pita wraps with rice, Tzatziki, and tuna or something in them, but they were all out of Tzatziki. It seems I rarely get what I want in life, even a simple little jar of Tzatziki, without some stupid obstacle in my way. So I ended up buying Miracle Whip instead. Not a real replacement for Tzatziki, but at least it's Kosher.

Holy crap, I gotta get to bed. It's another late night and I'm going to have troubles getting out of bed.

bye for now.

Trailer Disaster,

or

D'Oh!

Today there was a little mishap at work. It seems a very heavy pile of metal fencing fell over and squashed one of our tractor trailers.

I noticed yesterday that they (the contractors who are building a metal fence up on the highway near our works yard) stacked the metal fencing rather close to the tractor trailer, and I wondered how we were supposed to hook up the trailer to our truck with that pile directly in the way. I'm thankful that no one got caught in between the pile and the tractor. Here's some more photos of the carnage:

On the weekend it was raining again, so I didn't do much photography. However, I did end up going to Fort Langley with my Friend A. and his Girlfriend J. It's kinda neet there; lots of old buildings and things to look at. I got A. to shoot some photos of my goofing around:

I finally went to the movies and saw Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King! I went with my best friend L. on Thursday night.

That movie was amazing!!! After the movie, I kept thinking to myself 'How can I ever watch another movie about good versus evil, when I've just seen the veritable epoch of Good VS Evil'?

What an incredible battle for good! So yeah, needless to say, I loved it!

Today is Saturday, and I'm off to down town to get my hair cut. It's getting pretty shaggy, so I thought I'd get it done. It's funny because a small part of me wants to grow my hair long, but logically I know that I've never really liked the way my hair grows when it's getting long. It just seems to grow straight out and sticks up all over the place. My hair is naturally curly and so it requires a lot of hair product when it does get long, just to tame it. So I'm going to get it cut but just a little--enough to control the frizziness.

I hope it doesn't rain today, I'm going to be downtown and I'll like to take some pictures.

-Bye for now.

I didn't go to work today. I woke up this morning and felt really crappy, so I phoned in sick and went back to bed. I feel better now. I think I really needed the sleep. I've been burning the candle at both ends lately (like I almost always do) and I think my body is telling me "Hey man! Get some sleep!" (Or something like that.)

It was raining when I got up at 6:00am, but now it's actually a nice sunny day outside. I put some food out for the birds and squirrels this morning and they're loving it.

I might go to see Lord of the Rings #3 tonight with my best friend L. I think we may be the only people left who haven't seen it yet. It should be great.

Here's some pictures from last Sunday:

Today was a good day--well sort of; I went to work this morning as usual, but I came down with a bad headache. I get migraines some times, and I guess my body thought that today would be a good time.

So I went home early at about 10:30am. and tried to have a good sleep, but it wasn't going to happen. Right outside my door there was a plumber working on the pipes. He was doing a lot of banging and cutting, and it seemed like the moment I would slip into that 'almost dreaming-semi conscious' state...BANG!!BANG!!BANG!! so it was more like torture than sleep. When it was finally all over and I drifted into a nice, deep sleep, I hear a loud knocking on my door! It was the land lady. I don't know what the heck she wanted, and I didn't answer. I was really angry about that, even though she couldn't possibly have known I was trying to sleep at about 1:00pm. I don't like being awakened even when I am feeling good.

The nice part of the day was going for dinner tonight with my best friend "L." It's her birthday today and so we always go out for Greek food. We both love Greek food and the restaurant we go to is top notch! So after that I gave her her birthday presents and she enjoyed them all. I get great pleasure from giving things to people that I care about. It just makes me feel great when I see the looks on their faces.

So my headache subsided quite a bit tonight, but it is still there. I'm not sure if I will bother going to work tomorrow or not. I think I'll try to and see how it goes.

Right now there's a noisy and stupid sounding old sci-fi movie on TV. My back is to the TV right now, so I don't know what it is, but it's mildly annoying. I think I'll shut it off now.

Gnite!

Sadly, the weather let us down today. It's raining all over the lower mainland and so I had to cancel the photo shoot. I was really looking forward to driving to White Rock. It'll have to wait until next weekend if the weather is good.

I'm going into Vancouver today anyway. I'll probably meet up with Jack for coffee some where.
