I had a pretty good weekend. Saturday was a really busy day, and fortunately I got up really early, so I got an early start. There was a garage sale in the neighborhood, and so I checked that out on the way into town. The garage sale was really lame, but it's a little early for garage sale season yet, so I expected as much.

When I got into town, the St. Patrick's Day parade had just begun on Granville Street. It was a hoot! There were lots of bagpipe bands, drums, dancers and even a leprechaun!




There were a lot of interesting people there, and so I shot many photos.

This is a band called The Island Girls and they were excellent! Really energetic, great dancing and music, and the girls are exceptionally talented musicians. If you click on their picture, it will take you to their web site.
