I found this funny link when I was visiting my friend's journal Pauly Dangerous. You can type in your real name in the British name generator, and out comes your 'terribly British' name:

Today was my birthday, and it was wonderful! It was a perfect day!
I got up early (around 7:30am), and checked my email, then I got a phone call from my lovely J.S. from Ontario!! And she was even at work! We talked for about 20 minutes or so, and it was good to hear her voice, so that totally made my morning!
The sun was shining in through my windows too and that always makes me happy. I rarely get to be home in the morning during the week and so it was nice (I took the day off today. It's the first time I've taken time off work for my birthday. Now I'm going to do it every year. I highly recommend it!) to relax and watch some t.v. Even the cats were happy, and they stretched out on the carpet in the sun:
I had a nice big breakfast, watched some more t.v. and then I headed down town to have lunch with my friend J. (not the lovely J.S. from Ontario, but my photojournalist friend J.S.) J. Paid for my lunch at 5 Senses Bakery, so that was cool! And I received all kinds of warmth, affection and birthday greetings from the staff at Dunne and Rundle Foto Source which was nice.
Then I headed home on the Skytrain. That was the only sucky think about today; the Skytrain kinda sucks at rush hour. I usually drive downtown, but I know from experience that it's just a bad idea to drive into or out of Vancouver during rush hour on a weekday. The Skytrain gets really packed.
When I got home there were lots of messages on my answering machine from friends and family with birthday wishes. I wasn't home for very long because I had to get ready to go for dinner with my best friend L. She treated me to Greek food tonight at our favorite Greek restaurant (we're not Greek, but we love the food!) It's a tradition with us, we treat each other to Greek food on our birthdays. Dinner was great! I was completely stuffed. We went back to her place and she gave me even more gifts! A much needed yoga mat, some excellent yoga and Pilates instruction videos and the DVD movie "Zoolander"! Hahaha! I love that movie! She also made birthday cupcakes and some really cool fridge magnets for me! I sure love her, she's my touchstone that girl!
So yeah, I had a great day! And it's not bad turning 35. I feel a lot younger today than I did a couple years ago.
In other news, it's been a while since I updated my journal. That's just because it's been a very eventful week or so. I've got lots of photos and things to add, so hopefully I'll get that done very soon.
I'm off to bed now. Gnite. :)
