I went to Burnaby Lake Park again today, I was feeling frustrated. Nature's beauty never ceases to amaze me and always soothes my soul. I needed that today, because I was under a lot of stress.
The Canada Geese are molting right now, and they're loosing their flight feathers. They are a little vulnerable at this stage. I sat and watched them quietly, trying not to disturb them. They seemed to accept my company and continued on with their preening and relaxing.

My little (not so little anymore) niece A. is in town with her mom C. I drove out to Langley on Tuesday afternoon to see them and my parents and sister D. were there too. It was fun and dinner was nice. We had a lot of catching up to do, but not a lot of time. I hope to see them again before they leave on Friday. I got a few photos while I was there. Here's A. and I:
And here's some of A. on the road in front of my sister's house. A car drove by while we were taking these photos and the passengers threw a water balloon at us, which, luckily missed my camera. I would have had to chase them down, had my camera got soaked:

I was at the beach on Saturday, our first really hot Saturday this year. There was all kinds of interesting stuff going on and I shot lots of photos. Here are some of them. (I'll put in some descriptions at a later date, unfortunately I'm up way too late tonight (Sunday) and I gotta get up early for work.)
