Little Boy and Monkeys

While I was shooting photos of Monkeys in Kyoto Japan, this little fellow ran past the monkeys towards me, but before he could make it, he lost a shoe and fell on his bum-bum. The monkeys were indifferent.

I love these pictures. That certainly is a priceless expression on the second one.

Thanks Kathy! :)

You know, the best part of these two pics is the comparison. Mom's watching him run in the first time. Then as soon as he falls, she's off shooting pictures of the monkeys. The indignity of it all! haha

Thank you.

Yes, I use two digital SLRs and one film SLR. The digital SLRs are both Canons, the EOS 20D and the EOS 10D. The film camera is a Canon EOS 630.

The EOS 20D does capture nice detail, at 8.4 million pixels, and the EOS 10D is also quite nice at 6.2 million. But the real key is using good lenses. Neither of those digital SLRs are any match for a medium format camera, like the Mamiya C-330, or a good Hasselblad, for high quality image resolution.

Of course, there are a lot of people who can buy a great camera, but it takes a lot of practice, knowledge and skill to shoot good photos.
