Spring is coming

I went out for a walk around New Westminster Quay today, and I saw these flowers growing along the walkway. They're very pretty:





For this shot, I turned my 50mm lens around backwards and held it against the camera:

Wow Mark!! Pretty flowers!!! I can't believe the Crocuses are already out in Van.!! I'll have to wait another month before they start blossoming here!!! :)

Thanks K! I really enjoy experimenting with things like that. It was about 20 years ago that a friend of mine demonstrated that a lens could be turned around backwards for an extreme closeup effect. You can get some really interesting stuff that way.

I love the shots! The flowers are so beautiful! And that special extremly zoomed in one is so FABULOUS I had to use it as my background! It's been a blast to look at that flower whenever I get to my desktop environment! :)
