The Trouble with Photographing Cats

Last week, I decided to set up my small studio set and shoot some photos of the kitties. It sounds easy, sure. But the reality is, cats do exactly what they want to do, and they are very easily distracted. They soon grew tired of my fruitless attempts to sit them in a good position.











There were a few that turned out nice though:

Wow, you got some very nice shots. Your cats are more compliant than my little terror. I love the lounging cat photo...a cat in its true setting. Nice!

The black one has composure, that I can tell. Nice photos! They're all Persians, right?

The big black one 'Stimpy' is a Persian, the very large rusty orange one 'Sarah' is a Main Coon, and the little gray and white one 'Silver' is some mixed breed. I'm not exactly sure what she is.
